Oxfam in Nepal has been notified about a scam involving someone offering jobs at Oxfam in exchange for something in any form. We are deeply concerned by the news.
We would like to inform everyone that Oxfam does not charge any application, processing, training, interviewing, testing or other fee in connection with the application or recruitment process. We strongly recommend all to disregard any solicitation for the payment of a fee or anything.
Furthermore, Oxfam has fair hiring practices and does not follow any kind of recommendations or solicitation in the process.
Oxfam has a zero-tolerance policy towards inaction against sexual exploitation, abuse, and sexual harassment (SEAH). Everyone is responsible for preventing sexual exploitation and abuse and sexual harassment (PSEA and SH), and all Oxfam personnel must adhere to the standards of conduct that preserve PSEA principles (both during and outside official working hours). All selected candidates will, therefore, go through a safe hiring process.
