This brief is an outcome of the research co-designed and conducted with Environment and Engineering Research Centre (EERC). The brief distils the research’s core message for policy audiences. It focuses on whether local climate and disaster finance is sufficiently prioritized, how it is spent, and what reforms are needed so public finance produces stronger and more equitable resilience outcomes.
