Trans-Boundary Water Governance Training Manual (Nepali)

On International River Day of Action (14th March 2021) with the theme “Rights of Rivers, Oxfam Nepal has launched Transboundary Water Governance manual. The manual was developed after the consultation with Mayors/deputy mayors of municipalities/rural municipalities from Darchula, Baitadi, Dadeldhura and Kanchanpur districts. The manual provides guidance to the local government representatives, water managers, and relevant stakeholders to get an insight on the various aspects of river basin management. The principle of IWRM and practical exercises presented in this manual will help in developing strategies for better governance of transboundary rivers. The manual was developed by experts of Tribhuvan University/ Central Department of Environmental Science( CDES) funded by The Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA) under Transboundary Rivers of South Asia (TROSA) program.
